If you're following The Lost Tapes you should already know how dope South Central emcee killer Curtessy is after projects such as the "Different World" EP and his free album with my boy The Militia, "Expectations". While he's gearing up for an official retail album in 2015, Curtessy once again hooks up with The DJBooth for an exclusive, free 10 track projects that displas his raw skills both in front of and behind the microphone. Sick!

[EP] CURTESSY - "Different World: Technically Speaking"
Talented South Central spitter has released two projects with the homie and Lost Tapes favorite The Militia over a relatively short period of time and they all have been very sick releases. For his third and latest release, the eight track project "Different Worlds" that was just premiered @ DJBooth for free download, half of the release is produced by The Militia (including the first single "Hope" while the remaining joints are produced by Curtessy himself except for the final joint "Halluciniation" which is laced by Self Taught. Be sure to check this one out!

PRO STATUS x THE MILITIA - "Emceeism" (Ft. Rome Clientel & Curtessy)
South Afrian golden era boom bap masestro The Militia has been hard at work since he first burst on to the scene a few years ago, dropping project after project; the next doper than the last. His latest venture is an album with emcee Pro Status called "Above The Rhyme". The final single before the free album drops on April 24 is called "Emceeism" and is a beautiful soul banger featuring Pro Status going head-to-head with Elmira, NY's super lyrical Rome Clientel and West Coast spitter Curtessy. In case you missed the first single, check out "You Could Be The Master" here and be sure to check back here on Thursday for a link to the full project.

CURTESSY / THE MILITIA - "Emcee"
Another heavy hitter from Curtessy & The Militia's superb "Expectations", this one being one of my absolute top tracks from the LP. The video for "Emcee" was shot and directed by HB Produkshins.

[Trailer] CURTESSY / THE MILITIA - "Emcee: The Video"
You know Curtessy and South African super beatsmith The Militia recently released their magnificent "Expectations" album for free download. With only 10 songs, the amazing chemistry between this emcee and producer makes pretty much every song on the LP a true standout, but one of the hardest is the boom bapin' "Emcee". Now the duo has completed a music video for the song, the first from the project, and instead of just dropping it for us (like they did with the album), the two man army has released a teaser/trailer/commercial for the video to YouTube. As stated by The Militia the goal is to reach 1,000 views of the teaser and the full video be delivered right away, so make sure to press play and spread the word!

[Album] CURTESSY & THE MILITIA - "EXPECTATIONS"
South Central representative Curtessy and Johanessburg's The Militia joins back up for "Expectations", their second release as a unit. A 10 tracks deep journey into the mind of Curtessy who flexes lyrical muscles that can take him far in the industry. All set over beautifully chopped and arranged samples from the soul section of The Militia's record collection that'll have true hip-hop heads in awe. Whether on some straight spitting shit ("Emcee") or weaving intricate street stories ("What It Seems"), the emceeing is constantly of high caliber and I ain't even have to tell you how I feel about these beats! Head over to DJBooth below, press play, and prepare to get your head banging for the next 30 minutes.

The Militia & Curtessy - "One"
If you didn't sleep on The Militia and Curtessy's thumping EP "Look What The Streets Made", you should be well informed that the duo means business when they are reuniting for a full-length invasion of the boom bap realms. The album will be made available on October 29 via DJBooth and of course heavily promoted @ The Lost Tapes. Until then make sure to check out the lead single "One", featuring Jamla producing emcee Khrysis who pops up for a guest verse. DOPE!
