KOOL G RAP x NECRO - "THE CITY"

Some people had lost faith in that G Rap and Necro's much anticipated Godfathers project would not at all see the light of the day. But over the last month, we have until today gotten four singles that all bang HARD, perfectly setting up the agressive lyrical street styles of G Rap and Necro over impeccable Necro beats. The fourth and latest single from "Once Upon A Crime" is called "The City" and is sure to have your heart racing and your neck snapping!

KOOL G RAP & NECRO - "Trigga 4 Hire"

As we're coming closer to the highly anticipated collaboration between Kool G Rap and Necro, the duo releases the third official single from "Once Upon A Crime" due out next month. This one's called "Trigga 4 Hire", and is produced by Necro and follows the same hardcore ish style of the two previous joints - so be sure to gear up for a real HARDcore album.

Kool G Rap and Necro's Godfather project "Once Upon A Crime" took some time to finally materialize, but with the collaborations we've heard from these two it seems that it will definitely be worth the wait. Following "Heart Attack", the second single is called "Omerta" and sees the duo embracing the code of the streets over an ill usage of one of the major Godfathers theme. At one point I was actually starting to doubt if The Godfather's project would actually ever come to fruition, with only that one posse cut "Men @ Work 2012" to show for it in more than a year of promises of the album. This is not a jab at the two emcees per se, but we all know that a lot of remarkable hip-hop albums gets announced and never come to fruition. However, now it's 100% official - The Godfathers album is called "Once Upon A Crime" and will be released through SRC in conjunction with Psycho+Logical on November 19. The first single just landed too, along with the artwork, and it's a hardboiled joint called "Heart Attack".
