The homie Rome Cee brings out the visual to his single "Signs" from his recent dope project "Glimps". You know that we here at The Lost Tapes are big fan of Maryland emcee Rome Cee. Constantly coming out with terrific material, and more often than not, always given away for free. This is a greatt way to build up a fanbase before his official retail debut finally drops, and you can count me in supporting. Cee's latest project is called "Glimpse" and features six tracks and a bonus songs, and is an excellent showcase of Rome's talents both in picking beats and going IN in the microphone booth. It's been a minute since we heard from Rome Cee  but  on the other hand, his last album "EarthSide" was more than enough to hold us over. Now the Boston rhymer has completed his new EP "Glimpse" which is set to be released on December 6. The EP consists of six songs, including the Tulev produced "Signs", which you can listen to and download for free now. ROME CEE x ILLCONSCIOUS - "Life's A Bitch 2014"

Baltimore's Rome Cee is one of the most interesting underground artists doing it right now, and he's far from lazy with his output. His latest single is the powerful, yet somewhat laid-back "Life's A Bitch 2014" produced by Ancient Sounds and features Rome going bar for bar with anoter talented spitter by the name of Ill Conscious X. The joint will appear on a project entitled "No Titles" that should be out this fall. Don't sleep!

Avid readers of The Lost Tapes will most definitely be familiar with the name Rome Cee and his quality music through singles like "DeepRooted", "Buttas/Boomerang" and "Integrity". Hailing from Boston, Rome's constantly provides well written, thought provoking lyrics with a sharp tongue set over headnod production from relatively unknown but talented beatsmiths. Having spent the last year building a name for himself, in 2014 its time for this young emcee to really make some noise. Something he certainly does on his debut album "EarthSide A+B", a 20 track collection that although at times a bit rough around the edges really packs a hard punch with ill, powerful music. Don't sleep!

ROME CEE - "DeepROOTED"

Rome Cee is another really dope and heavily underrated emcee hailing from Boston, who slowly but steadily is making a name for himself. If you haven't heard him before, click on the Rome Cee link at the post right at the bottom of this post. His latest single is another solo joint, titled "DeepROOTED" and features Rome's trademarks of thought-provoking lyrics over dark and layered production (courtesy of Justin Ambush). "Deep Rooted" is one of 18 tracks to be included on Rome's upcoming album "EarthSide" which officially drops on February 2, so stay tuned for more info and singles as we get coser...

Rome Cee - "Buttas/Boomerang"

Baltimore's Rome Cee is back with another lyrically strong single for the heads. This double feature's called "Buttas/Boomerang" and is an homage to the classic '90s's hip-hop that Rome grew up on and especially the storytelling abilities of lyrical giants like Big Punisher and Ghostface. I've posted a few tracks from emcee Rome Cee before, and the man as good as always brings quality ish to the table. For his latest release, he hooks up with fellow Baltimore spitter Greenspan and a host of producers including Swiff D, August Flight Gordon, and Pablow Beats. Titled "Cee-Span", this six track EP is straight on point whether you come looking for fresh, honest rhymes or tight, well programmed beats. Not to be confused with Rome Clientel, Rome Cee is an emcee based in Boston, MD and sports a severely ill flow. Since early 2010 he has released several independent albums that you can check out which you could and should check out over @ Rome Cee's Bandcamp page. The track I'm focusing on today however, is Cee's latest single, a track called "Integrity" that's set over basically the same beat as The Firm's "Affirmative Action" and was recorded for a compilation album showcasing the Baltimore's hip-hop scene called "Consumer Voice 360". This guy got bars man!
