Thanks for the clear up.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4817856364695871114.post-66708520134965718362011-06-24T00:38:26.690-07:002011-06-24T00:38:26.690-07:00well they are both from Chicago, and No ID produce...well they are both from Chicago, and No ID produced Com's three first albums with a little help from a few other local producers such as Twilite Tone and Dug Infinite.<br /><br />around 1998 he moved to New York and also wanted a new sound so he reached out to ?uestlove and The Soulquarian's cuz he wanted a new sound. therefore Soulquarian's and Jay Dilla produced his next two albums. after that Kanye reached out and produced the two LPs after that and then he did one with Neptunes.<br /><br />that's one thing i like about Common though, he's great at making albums cuz he always lets one producer or a production team do the bulk of the production. from what i've heard, his next LP will be fully produced by No ID, maybe with some help from Kanye.
