Roc Marciano to reissue his first EP ever

Roc Marciano has been killing the underground scene for more than a decade now. Before there was "Marcberg", The Flipmode Squad and The U.N., the Strong Island emcee debuted with a rare 12" EP in 1997 in collaboration with producer OX.

The EP was called "The Prophecy" and released as Kuku Productions on the small indie label Noose Records. All the songs on the EP were produced by the two artists themeselves with Roc handling the vocals. While Roc is not as sharp here as when he came out with Busta on the "Anarchy" LP two years later, there's no denying that it's a diamond in the rough we're listening to on these joints.

While we're waiting for the follow-up to "Marcberg", "Reloaded", GoodFelons Records has decided to re-release a limited edition of the EP on 180 gram vinyl. The new reissue also features a never before heard track from the duo titled "Same Ol' Same". You can stream and download the snippets of the EP below and visit Goodfellons Records to order on how related stuff and to order it for yourself.
