[Beat Tape] K-DEF - "Tape One"

A couple of days back I posted a stream of the A-side of K-Def's latest release, the recently discovered 20 something years old beat tape "Tape One". Since K-Def's been a favorite of mine for a long time, and I just discovered that you can in fact stream the entire "tape" (which is also available on vinyl) via Redef's Bandcamp, I decided to delete the old post and replace it with this one instead. Given the many years that has passed since it's inception the sound quality is not top notch, but at the same time it gives it that raw feeling of mid-'90s underground hip-hop, as well as it's a very interesting study between 'Def's older and newer material considering this was when he was still programming machines like the MPC. 15 tracks all in all that is guaranteeed to take you back which is available on 12" vinyl for the price of 19.99 USD @ Redef Records while the cassette goes for 11 USD. Of course the digital can be purchased below via Bandcmap, where you  can also stream the full thing, so enjoy and TURN IT UP!!
