The real return of one of the most talented emcees in the world has been heard for more than 10 years, but this time it seems Ms. Hill actually have a case. She just dropped a sick solo single called "Consumerism Pt. 1: Letters From Exile" which features a intense double-time flow and some brilliant writing which builds on her release from prison where he was held after being sentenced for tax evasion. This is just the type of stuff I've been wanting to hear from Lauryn, a very powerful track that shows her that she hasn't lost any of her lyrical marbles. Is it too much to hope for that this is an actual step towards the recording and release of the sequel to "Miseducation...". Maybe even the single cover's subtitle "Letters From Exile" is the title of a forthcoming album, much of it written during her recent exile?
