[EP] CHRISCO - "SOUL EP"

I'm a couple of days late on this, but if you haven't checked ChrisCo's new EP yet it's highly recommended. Titled "Soul EP", Chris' have here teamed up with the always trustworthy beat maestro Black Milk for five bangers that's a serious rival to his previous EP with Alchemist. The "D"'s in the house!

It's a good thing to hear from Taxfree Music's ChrisCo again, who is here back with his new single "Life". The soulful chops of Black Milk is magnificent, and reminds me of some older Milky joints that had my jaw dropping (think stuff like "Sound Of The City" and "7 Pounds"). ChrisCo's new release "Soul EP" is out already tomorrow, so stay on your toes.

Remember Detroit spitter ChrisCo who enntered the scene with the impressive Alchemist collaboration "How Does it Feel?" EP in 2011. The young emcee followed the record up with bonafied bagers like the DJ Premeir/elZhi/Jon Connor single "Straight Up" or his weed anthem with Reks and Termanology "Treez". Now he's back with another track produced by none other than the alwyas impressive Black Milk who provide the backdrop for the trio of ChrisCo, Marvwon, and Alkebulan who goes in one some s-o-u-l shit. If I understand it correctly "Soul" is the title track from an upcoming five track EP by Chrisco fully produced by Black Milk, so that should definitely be on your wishlist if Christmas comes early this year.

ChrisCo - "So Close"

Following his EP with The Alchemist, the knocking single with DJ Premier, eLzhi and Jon Connor, here's another one from MI spitter ChrisCo; "So Close" is produced by The Academy and features guest apperances from Young Knox and Mike Posner. Nice cut to lay back and chill out to, though I personally think this would be better off as a solo cut. ChrisCo's "MISTATEOFMIND" LP is available now.

Wow, superb joint that boosts a crazy line-up and smooth but banging production and cuts by DJ Premier. ChrisCo has dropped a lot of interesting stuff the last year, so I'm stoked to see what he'll cook up the time comes for him to drop the debut LP. "Straight Up" will officially be released as a digital single tomorrow, but thanks to Gim and the DJPremierBlog we already now got a rip of the premier from Saturday's LiveFromHQ show.

EDIT - The single has now been released without tags and in full CD quality version. The ID3 tag says it's from a project titled "MI State Of Mind" so stay tuned for more info on that release. Link to the new file added below.

ChrisCo x Reks x Termanology - "Treez"

Many might remember California's ChrisCo for his freEP with Alchemist last year, "How Does It Feel?". Now, he's preparing his next project, a mixtape titled "Green x Purple" that will be available for free download sometime next week. For the first single, he enlists Reks and Termanology for a blunted weed anthem produced by The Academy, effectively named "Treez".
