The bigget part of Voltron that was cruciual for the nine emcees to form as easily has the The RZA as it's most imporant figure and it's been like that from the beginning. He's released some uninspired albums over the years but many of them are extremely skitzofrenic; the best songs on those LPs are absolutely top noch while the rest is often absolutely horrendous.
Since the beginning of this year he has treated his fans with a new free song every week via SoundCloud under the Wu Wednesdays moniker. Many of them has sounded like a throwaway tracks and demos but this joint (despite being a demo) is pretty damn neat. Besides RZA, it also features special guests Kool G Rap and jewish emcee Kosher Dills. According to RZA this was created in the 36 Chambers Studios about one and a half year ago which makes me almost positive that this was one of the songs the trio worked on for the "Afro Samurai: Ressurection" (a good but heavily cluttered LP) that got lost in the shfufle. Here's what the super producer/MC had to say about the track.
"Here's a demo of a song we made about a year and a half ago at my east coast studio 36 East. It features Kosher Killz, one of the rawest jewish kids I've ever met; proving again that hip-hop comes in all shapes, forms and sizes. forms and races. I thought I'd show him some love. The very special guest featured on this track is one of the illest of all time - KOOL G RAP". ´
Enjoy this one!
