A couple of weeks ago we got "Fake", a track where Bumpy Knuckles (or Freddie Foxxx if you prefer) attacking one of the instrumentals from DJ Premier's "Beats That Collected Dust Vol. II". There's long been talks about a full collaborative album between these two, who already have a track record of about 20 released songs together, and this looks like it be the first official single from that project which is said to be titled "The Kolexion". As you might know, when it comes to getting beats from Preem, Foxxx has stated that he likes the challenge in picking tracks that's been previously rejected by other artists. This particular beat was apparantly rejected by Jay-Z for inclusion on "Blueprint 3" which speaks volume on The Jiggaman's mindstate considering how shitty 90% of that album sounded. Thanks to The DJ Premier Blog for the link.
