I've had nothing but good things to say about Preservation since I first became acquainted with his work on "Wu-Tang Meets the Indie Culture" and Mos Def's "True Magic". Following the free release of the extremely banging remix album of Mos's "The Ecstatic", the NYC-based producer is now letting loose of the first album under his own name. Titled "Old Numbers", the just released LP is built on collaborations with a bunch of dope artists, ranging from heavyhitters like Yasiin Bey, Jean Grae, Jemini the Gifted One, Edo G, and Minnesota to newcomers like 32 FX, Yazheed, and Milly Mango. Check out the two first singles "Disorderly Conduct" featuring 32 FX, and "Freedom is Everybody's Job" with Yasiin Bey, above and below respectively, and head over to Mon Die Music to order the album in your format of choice; vinyl, CD or digital.
