Damn, there's so much crazy shit popping up today that I'll have to wait to write my Vanguard Music Festival review for tomorrow, but with dope shit like this long lost B-One / Large Pro baby I doubt anyone is too frustrated. B-1 is one of the best examples of the many super promising emcees that dropped a few extremely promising 12"s and guest verses in the late '90s before more or less disappearing. An early Rawkus signee, B-One's debut album was prepared for a '97 release but got lost in the shuffle and only one 12" single came out of the deal; the super ill Ayatollah produced "Cardinal Sins" / "Life We Lead". Luckily, today there's labels like Ill Adrenaline who have secured permission to release a 7" single limited to 1,000 copies of "Hands Of Time", a track produced by Large Professor from those sessions. Set for a September 3 release date and distributed by Fat Beats, the record is up for pre-order @ Ill Adrenaline Records.
