Few groups have gone through as many transformations as legendary Detroit representatives Slum Village - from the first and unoubtedly best unit with Jay Dee, Baatin, T3 era, to the eLzhi/T3 period, and most recently the Young RJ, T3, and Illa J formation. The latter just released a new single via Funk Flex's show enittled Yes Yes Yes" and is a real crazy but rather mystterious track since it's produced by the late Jay Dee,who also perform both ad-libs and the hook on the song. Esthetically it sounds like something from "Fan-Tastic-Vol. 1" but with the new line-up also including Illa J and Young RJ. Unlike the Jay Dee beats on "Villa Manifesto" this doesn't really sound 100% mastered, but it's still a very fascinating listen and will definitely have your head nodding in agreement.
