[Video] GHOSTFACE Ft. AZ, KOOL G RAP & TRE WILLIAMS - "The Battlefield"

While Ghostface's "36 Seasons" seriously lacked any replay value in my book, it did feature some great performances from everyone involved, and never as much as on the powerful album opener "The Battlefield". Supplied by the excellent crooning of The Revelations' original singer Tre Williams, three of the hip-hop games finest storytellers and all around emcees each paints a vivid introduction of the characters they are playing for the audio film. Produced by the great Fizzy Womack with Brooklyn based The Revelations providing the instrumentation.

Nomeasuare nusic artist Lucky Tate just released his new single "Celebrate", complete with a brand new low-budget music video directed guerilla style in the streets of East New York, the track is produced by Fizzy Womack and was recorded by DJ Premier @ HeadQCuarterz Studios. The video description give due credit to "Billy Danze, Fame, Preemo, DJ Skizz, Toshi, (and R.I.P. to ODB of the Clan).  Talking about ODB, this is clearly qa sort of tribute - just look at the still from the video above!

Termanology & Lil' Fame - "Play Dirty"

Lil' Fame, Termanology, Styles P, and Busta on a Preem banger?!! You know it's over with this line-up who comes together for "Play Dirty", the new single from "Fizzyology". The full-length project by Fame and Term will be available everywhere this November.

Lil' Fame & Termanology - "Too Tough For TV"

The second single from Slap and Term's collaborative project, "Fizzyology" (November 6) is here, and just like the title track this one goes HARD. It's got a real heavy M.O.P.-ish vibe which makes me think that this is one of Fame's own productions. In fact, I remember that DJ Premier played "Too Tough For TV" on LiveFromHQ at least one year ago, which is cool because it let's us know that this duo really has taken their time with the LP.

More on "FIZZYOLOGY"

Not sure if this is the actual artwork to "Fizzyology", Lil' Fame and Termanology's collaborative LP due this fall. Sorry to see that no vinyl release is listed, but production from Preem, Alc, Fizzy, & Statik Selektah with features from Busta, Bun B, Styles and Billy Danze should guarantee one solid album. As a throwback bonus, I added the "Watch How It Go Down" remix, which I believe was Slap and Term's first meeting on wax.

Lil' Fame & Termanology - "Fizzyology"

Lil' Fame and Termanology have probably done an album worth of collaborations already, so it's only right they've decided to make it official. "Fizzyology" is the title of the LP that drops on November 6 this year, and the title track that you see and hear above is produced by The Alchemist. Rugged and raw!

Maffew Ragazino / Lil' Fame / Teflon - "Brownsville Bullies"

Maffew Ragazino mangaded to build hype with "Rhyme Pays", a good project that was wisely more a full-length debut album than the traditional mixtape. Now the rhymer is preparing his first retail album, titled "Never Run, Never Will", a classic Brownsville slogan. So what better way to kick things off with a first single featuring not only M.O.P.'s Lil' Fame, but also the super underrated First Family member Teflon, who we see way too little these days. Produced by DJ Skizz.

The LP will feature a lot of other intersting guests, including Masta Ace, Billy Danze, DV Alias Khryst and Sonnie Carson. No date as of yet, but shouldn't be long now, and we still got "Rhyme Pays" to bang. Fizzy Womack fanatics like myself can also check out the video to his guest feature on 1982's latest album here: "Live It Up".
