[DJ Mix] MR. LEN x PRINCE PAUL x RHETTMATIC - "The 45 Bandidos"

Three of my absolute favorite DJ:s Rhettmatic, Mr. Len and Prince Paul have joined forces as the DJ trio Dirty Disco Square recently released this madly interesting mix called "The 45 Bandidos". As the artwork suggests, Rhett, Len & Paul plays it all (as long as it's on 45) so expect a little bit of everything, much of it instrumental, and prepare yourself for 45 minutes of funk, soul, breaks, rock, and then some. Presented by Egotripland.

Blame One & J57 - "B.L.A.M.E.57"

Brown Bag Allstar producer J57 and Dirty Science emcee link up for "B.L.A.M.E. 57", the second single (following "They Don't Know") off their upcoming collaboration LP "Walk in the Sun" which is out on Soulspazm Records on August 27. Hit play below and get ready for a lyrical exercise over real thumping beats with DJ Rhettmatic tearing up the turntables for the second time of the day. This album's looking real nice right now, you can pre-order and check out the tracklist @ iTunes.

Adrian Younge x Delphonics - "Enemies" [DJ Rhettmatic Remix]

The original version of "Enemies" was dope enough to warrant inclusion on both of Adrian Younge's most recent projects; the self-titled album by The Delfonics and "12 Reasons to Die" by Ghostface Killah. Here with a remix by the legendary DJ Rhettmatic, several different sections of the original instrumentation and William Hart's vocal parts are layered with impressive turntable work and Snoop samples into a dirty, deep bass grooving West Coast banger that's sure to get your head nodding. Check the crazy instrumental outro @ 2:36... Wow! [You can download the song here]

[DJ Set] DJ Jazzy Jeff @ The Do Over L.A. (5.19.2013)

There's no question that DJ Jazzy Jeff is not only one of the most legendary spinners in the game, but also one of the very best. Mr. Townes has posted his 1 hour plus DJ set that went down in LA's The Do-Over club roughly a month ago, and there's nothing but fire on here; Everything from hip-hop classics, to forgotten R&B jams, soul and funk bangers, the occassional pop groove, you name it. Jeff definitely know how to get the crowd going, and for this particular set he shares the stage with Skillz who perform his Master of Ceremony duties with grace, acting mainly as a hype man but spitting the occassional exclusive verse here and there! And like that wasn't enough The Do Over have also uploaded full DJ sets of DJ Rob Swift and DJ Rhettmatic for your enjoyment, so if you got a few hours free turn in, tune up, and prepare yourself for a musical journey!
