The most prominent Wu-Block duo recored this freestyle over the Big Daddy Kane/Marley Marl classic "Young, Gifted & Black" for Funkmaster Flex's latest mixtape. Unfortunately it didn't make the final cut of the mix, but that don't stop us fans in this day and age where we get to hear each and everything in due time. Check it out for yourslf; this up sounds impeccahle together an Marley's beat still ain't othing to F' eith.

[Tracklist] WU-BLOCK
The Wu-Tang / D-Block collaboration is just around the corner, with a November 13 release via eOne Music, and finally the tracklist is up for views. Basically a Sheek Louch / Ghostface album with lots of cameos from fellow Wu- and LOX-members, with the right production this will indeed be a rugged LP. It seems that most of the tracks will be completely new to most of our ears as I think "Stick Up Kids" is the only song of the previous singles to make the album. Pre-order the CD @ UGHH.

Sheek x Ghost x INS - "Bust Shots"
After learning from some of the best in the industry (Tarantino, Jarmusch, Rodriguez, etc.), RZA's now taking the step to direct, produce, score, and star in his very own feature length high-budget flick - "The Man With The Iron Fists". The score and original soundtrack is available now via Soul Temple Records, and is filled with quality music ranging from straight hardcore hip-hop to classic soul, and rock/rap fusion. As seems to have become the norm for hip-hop albums during the past five years or so, one of the hottest tracks from the sessions have been left off the regular release and is only available on a very pricey Deluxe Edition. If you intend to buy that I bet you'll do so whether or not you have heard this song or not, which is why I don't see no harm in posting this here. I myself placed a pre-order on the O.S.T.'s 2xLP version yesterday, which is said to be available on October 30.
So what exactly is this song that I am talking about? It's called "Bust Shots" and could be seen as another prequel to the "Wu Block" album as it stars both Ghostface Killah and Sheek Louch. The extra ingredient is INS The Rebel (Inspectah Deck that is) and together they make for a pretty damn cool posse cut. As much of the soundtrack, this one too is produced by the very skilled Frank Dukes who really has started to become a household name on the scene.

Wu-Block - "Stick Up Kids"
The hardest joint yet from the Wu-Block album is here! An unmastered demo version of "Stick Up Kids" (labeled as "Stick 'Em Up") was released about a week ago, which is proof of what an amazing difference proper mixing and studio tweaking will do. Sheek Louch, Ghostface and Jadakiss gets busy over a pounding 808 drum beat, old school style. The full album drops on October 9, which is something of a mystery considering that neither iTunes, Amazon or any of the other usual sites got it up for pre-order yet. You can purchase "Stick Up Kids" and the previous official single "Union Square" via iTunes though!
Now I'm off to see Cormega and Large Professor rip it with my man Big Rob! Have a great Friday y'all!

[Mixtape] Wu-Tang Clan / D-Block - "Wu-Block"
Dennis Coles, the masked assassin broke through on the sccene in 1993. Now, 21 years later and some ten albums later, he stil remains one of the most interesting emcees hip-hop has to offer. He's an amazing story teller, got one of the most unique voices in the game, created his own slang lexicon and knows how to create a real live drama with only 16 bars, no problem; we must never forget that Ghostface music is 100% based in the streets in whatever he does, more than the majority of his Wu brothers GFK represent the streets.
Another group that's the epitome of New York street music are D-Block, originally knwn as The LOX, and out of its members, maybe the most hardcore motherfucker of them all is Sheek Louch. Therefore, the news that Ghost and Sheek were working on a full length album together seemed as natural as Bruce Lee's fighting style. Consdiering that both artists are currently signed to Def Jam, and the leaks have been coming on a regular basis I hink it's safe to safe that the "Wu-Block" album will actually see the light of the day, and probably sooner than we think!
To prove that point, D-Block and Wu-Tang has put together the official mixtape of the same title as the forthcoming album; "Wu-Block". The 11 track tape features all prevuous leaks from the LP; "The Heist" from the Rae/Ghost/Meth album; "Ready 4 War" is actually the original Styles P assisted version of 2006's "Tony Sigel"; "The Outsiderz" is an old D-Block joint. In other words, there's not many exclusives here but it's a great listen and works as a cool prequel to the official album that finally drops in late August. Thanks to HAQ and Hollow Dartz for link and information. Enjoy y'all!

06. "The Oursiderz" (Ft. Papoose & Lil' Cease)

Sheek & Ghost - "Shrooms" (Ft. Styles P)
Sheek Louch and Ghostface continues dropping gem after gem from the "Wu Block" sessions; this is no less than the seventh leak since the collaborative project was first announced. "Shrooms" is another heavy hitter that I certainly wouldn't mind appearing on the retail release and besides a super sharp Ghost verse it also features a cameo by Styles P. I strongly doubt that all these loose leaks are actual songs from the album; neither Sheek or Ghost have been known to be lazy when it comes to recording material. My guess is that certain tracks will be included on the album, like The RZA produced title track from the LP that was also the first song released. I'm certain many of the other songs are loosies from the sessions that they rather put out as promotional material to give heads a taste rather than leaving them on the cutting room floor. We'll just have to wait and see but one thing is for sure, "Wu Block" is looking and sounding damn good right now.

Sheek Louch & Ghostface - "Batman"
The Sheek & Ghost leaks keeps coming, always with very little information on the actual project that is "Wu-Block". Can't complain though, most of the tracks have been fucking FIRE and this is no exception; I'm feeling the chemistry these two street dudes display in the booth. We'll see if these are songs that will appear on the album or if they are just letting loose of some recorded material for strictly promotional purposes.

Ghost & Sheek - "Barry"
The leaks keeps coming from Ghostface Killah and Sheek Louch's upcoming "Wu Block" collaboration. These two got a crazy chemistry, pure street music! For this one GFK revisits the same Barry White sample ("I'm Gonna Love You Just A Little Bit More") previously used for his classic "The Watch" from the "BPW" sessions. Sick!
