The always underrated Bink gives us his take on one of the hardest hip-hop bangers of all time, D.I.T.C.'s "Da Enemy" featuring stand out performances from both Big L and Fat Joe. This is the third single from the upcoming "D.I.T.C. The Remix Project", and every single track so far has been absolutely blazing. I previously posted the radio rip of DJ Premier's remix of the first D.I.T.C. posse cut ever recorded, 1991:s "Diggin' in the Crates" - which is now also available in its full CDQ version for download via the official D.I.T.C. Entertainment website. This LP is definitely extremely high on my wish list right now and we only have to wait about a week to get it in all its glory. BANG THESE OUT LOUD!!

[Album] MACK WILDS - "New York: A Love Story"
A couple of nights I ago I posted the Method Man assisted "Land of the Wild Things" from The Wire actor Tristan "Mack" Wilds turned R&B singer. As the first signee to Salaam Remi's production company Re Mi Fa / Louder Than Life, Wilds and the Award winning producer have been hard at work on the singer's debut album "New York: A Love Story". Not to be confused with the super sugar coated R&B of today, this is often more reminiscent of the street-edged crooners of the '90s that often used hip-hop beats and didn't exclusively sing about love.In that vein, Salaam and Mack have rounded up additional beats from hip-hop legends like DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Havoc, Bink!, and James Poyser which was then given additional touches and production by Remi, meaning that he in some shape or form have had a hand in producing every single song on the LP.
Unfortunately there's no production credits around for most of this yet, though I know that "Land of the Wild Things" was solely produced by Salaam Remi, while "My Crib" and "Henny" was produced by Bink! and Havoc, respectively, (both with co-production from Remi). An educated guest is that Premier co-produced and put the scratches on "Keepin' It Real", while Pete Rock might have done the same for the strictly hip-hop oriented "Duck Sauce". Guest features are kept to a minimum but the ones who appear are all terrific writers and long-time greats - Meth, Raekwon and Doug E. Fresh... TheUrban Daily has been given the get-go to premier the LP in its entirety, before it officially drops September 30. Be sure to give this one a spin unless you absolutely hate R&B (and even then check out "Duck Sauce", "Keepin' It Real" and the feature cuts).

Maffew Ragazino - "Got 2 Love It"
There's been a lot of great younger emcees breaking through the last couple of years, bringing a level of freshness to the game while keeping the elements that made us all fans of this shit to begin with intact. One of those cats are Brooklyn's Maffew Ragazino who has hit us with several brilliant singles in 2012, and here he goes again with "Got 2 Love It"; a fitting title for this blazing cut that's superbly produced by Bink!.

[Compilation] BINK! - "BINK! Dawg Style"
As per request, here's is an imo slamming compilation, highlighting some of the absolute best work of the 2000-2001 Roc-A-Bloc producer extraordinare. Despite having heard many good productions from the man, it was with Jay-Z's classic "The Blueprint" that I really started to take noitce. KanYe West and Just Blaze gets all the props for the sound of that album, but everyone who likes to read credits are well aware that the LP:s three main producers also included Bink! Dogg; in fact, both he and Just Blaze had three beats each, and KanYe had four. Still he rarely gets mentioned in those discussion which is a true shame. He produced maybe my favorite joint on the entire LP; the closing masterpiece, "Blueprint (Momma Loves Me)" as well as the breathtaking opener "The Ruler's Back" and finally the soulful banger "All I Need".
After moving on to hip-hop after grinding his teeth on R&B records for the likes of Blackstreet and 702, he started to make moves on the hip-hop scene in the late '90s; producing a good chunk of The Lost Boyz' sophomore release, A+'s second LP (both with outstanding early Canibus verses), Krumb Snatcha, U-God, and Kurupt. All mentioned represented on the compilation you hear below.
Similiar to his fellow Roc-A-Bloc producers he worked with on "The Dynasty" and the aforementioned "The Blueprint", he often deals in very soulful samples, a lot of chops in his sample programming, a great nack for creating the right song for any artist he's working with,, and maybe the trademark most important; the constant use of heavy percussion to emphazise the basic rhythm track. For those reason, it's often easy to spot a Bink! production; not least because his beats are often rooted in African and even latin musical styles. He got a lot of familiar tricks up his sleeve, but also enough to make him stand out as a truly interesting, and with recent high-profile placement's like Kanye's "Devil in a New Dress" he's still as relevant as ever.'
As us usual, full songs, nothing but CDQ rips, and an hour of some of Bink!'s finest beats spanning over a decade.. There's not much more to to say but enjoy, TURN IT UP, and of course this goes to the big homie Mal!!
