[Album] HUS KINGPIN & ROZEWOOD - "Pop Up Shop"

If you're a fan of The Lost Tapes you know what a huge fan I am of Hus Kingpin and his work, both a solo artist, or his earlier work with The Connection and now more recently with Rozewood; another terrific street emcee emboding the grittiness of his neighborhood. It's amazing that these guys keep pumping out free album after free album and they are all more or less real dope. Now they are back with another free tape, entitled "Pop Up Shop", that will definitely make fans satisfied. With production by Alchemist, The RZA (!), Bluez Brothers, and more this should be a sure shot. [EP] HUS KINGPIN x CHUCK STRANGERS - "HUS Meets The Pro Era: EP"

You know I got a lot of love for Hus Kingpin, even putting his 2013 revisited street album "The Cognac Tape" among the top 5 countdown of the year's best albums, so new music from the Brooklyn/Hempstead emcee is of course always very welcome. Here he is joined by Pro Era producer/and sometimes rhymer Chuck Strangers for an eight track offering (including two guest remixes by B-Sun and Kool J Illa, respectively)= that got a lot of interesting stuff to listener to. Strangers smooth grooves and Hus' stripped down rhyme slinging makes for an amendable combination, while Lewis Parker's guest production apperance on the first single "Hardknock" stands as the projects crowning achievement. Hus Kingpin Ft. Roc Marciano - "Boss Material"

With some help from fellow Hempstead artist Roc Marciano and Mello Music Group, Hus Kingpin is unleashing the complete version of "The Cognac Tape". Beside Roc Marcy, the tape comes strapped with features by Rozewood, Ghosta Nostra, Marvellous Mag, and Smoovth. Roc Marciano / Hus - "Warm Hennessy"

Goodfelons continues their collaboration with Roc Marciano, following up the superb "Do The Honors" EP with an equally outstanding extended play from the Strong Island rhyme maestro. For "Warm Hennessy", The Arch Druids is once again enlisted on production, while Roc is joined by The U.N. partner Dino Brave and Hus on vocals. The limited 12" and digital single features, besides the main joint, remixes by J-Force, Nuance and DJ Brans plus instrumentals and accapellas.
