You know I got a lot of love for Hus Kingpin, even putting his 2013 revisited street album "The Cognac Tape" among the top 5 countdown of the year's best albums, so new music from the Brooklyn/Hempstead emcee is of course always very welcome. Here he is joined by Pro Era producer/and sometimes rhymer Chuck Strangers for an eight track offering (including two guest remixes by B-Sun and Kool J Illa, respectively)= that got a lot of interesting stuff to listener to. Strangers smooth grooves and Hus' stripped down rhyme slinging makes for an amendable combination, while Lewis Parker's guest production apperance on the first single "Hardknock" stands as the projects crowning achievement. You can stream the entire below or download it for free thanks to the good folks @ the Digicrates Bandcamp. Don't sleep!
