Apathy Ft. M.O.P. & Celph TItled - "Stomp Rappers"

I'm not the biggest fan of Apathy I've we're being one hundred, but the kid does have bars, a great ear for beats and gets some great guests on his record (just check the entire album he did with OC last year for example). On the first Friday of March (2/3) he is releasing "The Widow's Son" and based on the singles and credits this one will be worth to hear at least a couple of times. For the love of Hip Hop I'm posting all of the singles including the latest joint which features none other than Lil' Fame and Billy Danze over the appropriately titled self-produed "Stomp Rappers".

The real winners are the three earlier singles, produced by Nottz, Pete Rock (and featuring Pharoahe Monch) and DJ Premier's "The Order". Looking at the tracklist, it seems that as far as outside credits we have gotten all of the best shit aisde from the AG and DJ Mekalek-assisted "Never Fall Off".

ARMY OF THE PHAROAHS - "God Particle" [Mr. Green Remix]

Through his extensive work with PaceWon and Malik B. I have during a rather short time became a huge fan of the brilliant production work of Mr. Green. Here he takes on Army Of The Pharoah's latest single "Curse Of The Pharoahs", originally produced by Blastah Beatz. Mr. Green's Live From The Street Team (which also includes beat head Sam Lipman-Stern gives the joint a more laid-back vibe with a beautiful accoustic piano melody taking center stage backed up by powerful cuts, and a ill bass and drums combination. Considering how different these two versions are they work great as a back-to-back listen.

"God Particle" features verses from Vinnie Paz, Celph Titled, Planetary, Apathy and Esoteric. Army Of The Pharoah's new album "In Death Reborn" drops April 22 on Enemy Soil Records - to check out the tracklist, production credits and pre-order the CD head over to UGHH.

Snowgoons Ft. Ill Bill, Celph Titled, Apathy & Sicknature - "Black Snow 2"

Germany based production team The Snowgoons rounds up ILLBILL, Celph Titled, Apathy and Danmark 'goon for the title track from the upcoming "Black Snow 2" project. As expected this is some hard ass stuff and the featured emcees sounds just about perfect over this type of agressiveness. The LP is set to be released on December 13, pre-orders will be available soon and word is that the iTunes version will carry three bonus tracks!

[Album] SUICIDE KINGS - "CHROWN OF THORNS"

Suicide Kings is a duo consisting of MC Joey Knuckles and DJ/producer King Coles who you might have heard from some of the serious tracks they have dropped as of late, such as "Savages" featuring no lesser emcees than M.O.P. The duo have just released their second album which is called "Chrown Of Thorns", with guest apperances coming from the aforementioned M.O.P., Saigon, Apathy, and Celph Titled. The digital LP is available from iTunes or the group's Bandcamp page.

Celph Titled & Apathy - "School For Scoundrels"

Here's one that I missed when it dropped a few days ago, but this is definitely worth hearing so here goes.. Celph Titled and Apathy hooks back up together for this smoking Ayatollah produced cut made for a forthcoming compilation album by Coalmine Records, titled "Unearthed". I haven't been able to find a date for the project, but apparantly it boosts features and production from people like Large Professor, Kool G Rap, Pharoahe Monch, Royce Da 5'9", Skillz, Torae, Nottz, !llmind, Heltah Skeltah, Khrysis, M-Phazes, Blu, and more (obviously also incluing "School For Scoundrels" and its writers). Sounds like a monster of a record!

VIDEOS: DJ Premier X2 (Evidence & Apathy)

DJ Premier has been around since 1988 in a major way and is still one of the hottest producers around, one of his latest endeavors is the rock-influenced "Stop What Ya' Doin'" for Apathy featuring Celph Titled off the former's brand new "Honkey Kong" album. This was a stand-out track to me on an album that featured production from the likes of DJ Muggs, Da Beatminerz, Statik Selektah, Evidence and Khrysis to name a few. The visuals was just released and is directed by Nicholas Heller. Thx to Meka and The Dope Boyz for the premiere of this video. You can download the single here and make sure to pick up "Honkey Kong" from Fat Beats or whatever your choice of online record store happens to be.

The second DJ Premier laced video I got for you has been out for a few days but I thought it was more fitting to wait for the perfect opportunity to drop it; and here it is. The video is directed by Todd Angkasuwan. I'm of course talking about Evidence's "You", Premier's contribution to Ev's upcoming album "Cats & Dogs" which is shaping up to be a great album with other productions coming from Ev himself, The Alchemist, DJ Babu and possibly Sid Roams. You can download the banger here and pre-order your copy of either the CD or the 2xLP edition of the album @ UGHH, Amazon or your record store of choice.

Apathy - "Peace Conneticut"

Apathy has released the third and possible final single from his new album, "Honkey Kong" with a video directed by "Open" Mike Eagle & Greg LaRose and all I can say is that both Apathy and Da Beatminerz (who produced this) absolutely went IN! The album is stacked with fat rhymes and beats provided by the likes of DJ Premier, DJ Muggs, Beatminerz, Evidence, Khrysis, Statik Selektah and cameos by everyone from Xzibit to General Steele and Ill Bill. Support a starving artist and pick it up @ UGHH.

I want to send this track out to my brother Johan Davidsson who I and many of his closest friends were led to believe had already passed on. This happened through misinformation randomly given by the fucking police, seemingly just to mess with peoples mind. He's in critical condition though and I hope and pray that you'll make it through my brother, I'm with you all the way!
