Apathy Ft. M.O.P. & Celph TItled - "Stomp Rappers"

I'm not the biggest fan of Apathy I've we're being one hundred, but the kid does have bars, a great ear for beats and gets some great guests on his record (just check the entire album he did with OC last year for example). On the first Friday of March (2/3) he is releasing "The Widow's Son" and based on the singles and credits this one will be worth to hear at least a couple of times. For the love of Hip Hop I'm posting all of the singles including the latest joint which features none other than Lil' Fame and Billy Danze over the appropriately titled self-produed "Stomp Rappers".

The real winners are the three earlier singles, produced by Nottz, Pete Rock (and featuring Pharoahe Monch) and DJ Premier's "The Order". Looking at the tracklist, it seems that as far as outside credits we have gotten all of the best shit aisde from the AG and DJ Mekalek-assisted "Never Fall Off".

APOLLO BROWN - "Not That Guy" / "Detonate"

Apollo Brown is sometimes a little hit or miss to me, but his track record has proved time and time again that he can be an INCREDIBLY dope producer when he gets everything right and with amazing albums and EP:s under his belt I will always keep checking for him. His latest project is a "solo" project in the vein of "In Control" and "Soul Survivor" where Apollo provides banging backdrops for a handful of talented emcees from all over. The guests include MOP, Oddisee, Skyzoo & Torae, Evidence, Rasheed Chappell, Chino XL, Finale, Ras Kass, Vinnie Paz, Masta Ace, Wordsworth, Freddie Gibbs,OC, Sean Price, Reks, and more. The project drops on Mello Music Group the 25:th of September but already know you can check out the two promising singles released so far. Below you'll find the streaming singles "Not That Guy" featuring Your Old Droog and even more intriguing his collaboration with MOP called "Detonate". Bang this LOUD!!

Q-BALL & CURT CAZAL - "At The Same Time" / "Demo" (Ft. MOP)

I first caught eyes and ears on the talented boom-bap esque D&D in house producer Curt Cazal on excellent records by the likes of MOP, Guru, Afu-Ra, Krumbsnatcha, Big Jaz, Craig G, Boot Camp Clik and more, pretty much always bringing the heat to whatever project he was involved in. Originally a part of the legendary late '80s posse JVC Force he would in the mid 2000s decade hook up with emcee Q-Ball & Curt Cazal (Q-n-C) and released the underrated full-length "Duo Dynamic". Since it's been quited from the duo both as a group and as solo artists/producers but now they are finally back with a brand new 45, called "At The Same Time". A powerful joint but the B-side bangs even harder, as they have grabbed Brownsville's finest for the B-side (called "Demo") of the single. Stream "At The Same Time" in full below, and to supporth the entire project be sure to cop the single at iTunes. Another sure shot from Ill Adrenaline Records, with the 7" vinyl being available now as well!

[Album] EA$Y MONEY - "The Money (Motive Of Nearly Everyone)"

Ea$y Money is an emcee hell bent on bringing back that boom bap sound without sounding dated and from the stuff I've heard from him he is doing a damn good job at it. As part of Termanology's St. Da Squad collective, Ea$y has dropped the ocassional mixtape as well as appearing on records by Reks, Term, Action Bronson, Big Shug, Statik Selektah, Serial Killers (Xzibit, B-Real & Demrick), Slaine, and more. His official retail full-length debut album is now here and features the sound of hip-hop a lot of people might have been missing if they haven't been knowing were to look (and if that's the case bookmark The Lost Tapes y'all). With production from DJ Premier, Statik Selektah, Buckwild, 9th Wonder, J. Cardim and more and cameos from the likes of Lil' Fame, Termanology, Jared Evans, Wais P, Joey Bada$$, Action Bronson, to name a few. This shit goes hard so be sure to press play. The album is OUT NOW on Showoff Records. Stream below and if you like what you hear, head over to iTunes and show your support!

[Album] DJ EFN - "Another Time"

DJ EFN is a DJ and producer originally hailing from Miami, originally known for his early '90s "Crazy Hood" mixtapes series, Now after over 20 years in the industry, learning the ropes, and building connections, EFN is stepping to the table with a retail album under his own name - entitled "Another Time". The album is oficially released today and is filled to the fucking limit with incredible guests from all coasts and different generations - or how about Scarface, Inspectah Deck, MC Eiht, Blu, Sean Price, Your Old Droog, M.O.P., Guilty Simpson, KAM, Fashawn, Cormega, Cory Gunz, Masta Ace, Killer Mike and many more. Sounds almost too crazy to be true right? While the majority of the production is handled by DJ EFN himself, DJ Premier, Hazardis Soundz, Davincci and Miami Heat Wave each contribute a track or two as well. Damn sick cover by Skam2? as well, everything about this project screams true ass hip hop if you ask me... Another incredible release from the always trustowrthy Redefinition Records - order it directly from REDEFFat Beats or iTunes.
