HUS KINGPIN Ft. Rosewood & Milano - "Pyramid Points" [Remix]

Following my review in the best of 2013 countdown of Hus Kingpin's excellent "The Cognac Tape", I realized that Hus had released yet another mixtape back in late November. The 16 songs set is entitled "Richard Dumas: The Mixtape" and is available on CD for the price of $14 @ Hus Bandcamp. As I wrote in my review of its aforementioned predecessesor, one of my favorites on that tape was The Snowgoons' produced "Pyramid Points", featuring Rosewood. The "Dumas" tape features two new versions of this track, but I especially want to bring one of them to your attention. The Druids Remix is not only produced by the always reliable Arch Druids, but also features an extra verse from D.I.T.C. affiliate Milano. Bang this loud, and again if you want to check out the mixtape you can buy it here. Hus official album "Sade" was originally set for a late 2013 release, so hopefully we'll see that one soon enough.

[VIDEO] Roc Marciano - "Poltergeist"

The impeccable Arch Druid's Roc Marciano single "Poltergeist" finally gets the visual treament, and is actually directed by Roc himself. For some reason, this won't appear on "Reloaded", but if y'all remember the news a while back word was that Roc actually has TWO albums coming out within a near future; "Reloaded" on DECON (November 13), as well as a full-length project on Man Bite Dog Records. So maybe that's where this will be given it's proper home? Who knows... All i know, is that I fucking love this banger!

Roc Marciano / Hus - "Warm Hennessy"

Goodfelons continues their collaboration with Roc Marciano, following up the superb "Do The Honors" EP with an equally outstanding extended play from the Strong Island rhyme maestro. For "Warm Hennessy", The Arch Druids is once again enlisted on production, while Roc is joined by The U.N. partner Dino Brave and Hus on vocals. The limited 12" and digital single features, besides the main joint, remixes by J-Force, Nuance and DJ Brans plus instrumentals and accapellas.
