SPIT GEMZ Ft. SHABAAM SAHDEEQ - "News At 11"

Spit Gemz is dropping his next album "Godly Features" on April 14, and as you can hear by the title the album will probbably feature a massive guest list. The first single is produced by Bazooka Joe and features the always super ill Shabaam Sahdeeq, "News At 11". This is some slamming boom bap shit, can't wait for the album!

DJ Bazooka Joe and Prospek more than proved their worth as highly talented producers of that real hip-hop sound with their 2013 release "The Bush League: Cold School". From that album comes the boom banging headnodder "Bust Nuff' ShotS", featuring Houston emcee Juskwan, complete with an addictive vocal loop and rock hard drums. junclassic - "Playin' Dirty" + "NY Won't Stop" 7"

"Playin' Dirty" (below) is another gem of a single from Queens' own junclassic and producer DJ Bazooka Joe's recent "BLVD Backdrop". The LP is vintage New York boom bap that is sure to satisfy any reader of The Lost Tapes with guest spots held down by the likes of C-Rayz Walz, King Cesar, Ceez and Evolve. Also from the album is "New York Won't Stop" (which video you see up top), which is currently the #1 song at the American College Radio Charts and is now being released on a limited 7" single. The B-side features an exclusive reimagining of the song, retitled "New Yitty" it's complete with three new verses, production by 42 Blues, and cuts by UK DJ 2 Kool Tony.

HiPNOTT Records keep winning in 2013; kicking things off with Spectac & Shakim's "For The People", Amiri's Spectac produced "Soul Beautiful", MidaZ The BEAST's "AU: Alternate Universe", etc. Now, next in line on the label roster is a brand new Music video from junclassic's upcoming album on the label, entirely produced by DJ Bazooka Joe. The entire album is produced by legendary boom bap maestro DJ Bazooka Joe, while all lyrics are handled by Queens' emcee junclassic who began his music career in 1997 as one half of the duo Dynamix with fellow spitter K-Sise. Soon after they were induced by MF Grimm into his Monsta Island Czars crew, so you know neither of these cats are no new kids on the block.
