HAVOC - "What I Rep" (Ft. Nutso & Sheek Louch) [Divided Souls Remix]

The homies Divided Souls Entertainment (Chris Moss, Brent Dixon, DJ Pain 1) recently fully produced one of 2015's hottest releases yet, Nutso's "Divided Soul". Now they take on "What I Rep", the Sheek Louch collaboration from Havoc's suprisingly hot "13 Reloaded" album. The Divided Souls/DJ Pain 1 remix, not too suprisingly, adds a Nutso verse to the synth and turntable heavy remix. TURN IT UP!

WU-BLOCK - "Wu Block Bizness"

Well this came out of nowhere, but I'm not hating. Sheek Louch and The Ghostfaced Killer is back at it again as Wu Block, and is releasing a project on Nautre Sounds called "Hidden Gems" on January 20. Whether this is unreleased music from the original "Wu Block" sessions or entirely new music remains left to be seen but til' then you can bump"Wu Block Bizness" up top. Here's what the note on Nature Sounds:

"The new Wu Block album "Hidden Gems" boasts 15 previously-unreleased tracks from Ghost and Sheek. "Hidden Gems" also contains a number of guest apperances from both camps, including Jadakiss, GZA, Masta Killa, Styles P, Cappadonna, Killah Priest, and more."

[Album] ASPECTS - "Grind Over Matter"

Over hardcore bangers from the production team of Snowgoons (DJ Illegal, Det, Sicknature, J.S., Kuster) Canada's ill spitting Aspects links up with a star-filled team including Ghostface, MOP, Raekwon, Killah Priest, Armageddon, Bizzy Bone, Sheek Lounch, Punchline, Hussein fatal and more. "Grind Over Matter" is in other words definitely an action-packing album which is out now on digital, while CD:s will follow on September 9 (pre-order @ UGHH). Snowgoons are offering heads a chance to stream the project in its entirety via Bandcamp where you can also cop the Mp3 version. Don't sleep!

[Sampler] SHEEK LOUCH / GHOSTFACE - "Wu-Block 2"

As I'm sure you are aware 2013 saw the release of Sheek Louch and Ghostface Killah's collaborative album "Wu-Block", an LP featuring a whole lot of bangers. Now word is spreading about a sequel project and considering the high work ethics of both Sheek and Ghost it's not all that suprising. A tracklist and cover art has been leaked, however shortly afterwards a representative of Greenstreets Entertainment issued the following statement - "We weren't ready to make an announcement. The distributor jumped the gun. That art and tracklist was for discussion purposes only, not official". The currently rumoured date is set for May 20 this year which doesn't sound unreasonable considering it's obvious completed.

So from what I gather, these tracks are all recorded though the track order and titles may be changed before the album hits retailers. An interesting things I noticed on this tracklist is the inclusion of "Drivin' Round" by Sheek Louch, Masta Killa and GZA which seems to be the same as my favorite joint on the first "Wu-Block" LP - only this version also lists Ghostface Killah (but not Erykah Badu). Another thing of note is the track "Aura" by Ghostface Killah, Killah Priest and Masta Killa; "Aura" is originally a solo track by Priest from his fantastic "Psychic World of Walter Reed" album. Anyway this should be a project worth peeping, you can even check out a lil' sampler/snippet reel below the tentative tracklist (much thanks to Wu super fan FeLo for that one). A major shout out to the good guys @ the Wu-Tang Corp forums who's always up on the latest Clan info!

WU-BLOCK 2014 - [[THE SAMPLER]]

DJ KAY SLAY Ft. Termaology, Trick-Trick, Troy Ave & Trae - "Ghetto Survivor"

Zulu Nation's DJ Kay Slay have been in the game for a while now, releasing both some fantastic music and some mediocre stuff. For 2014 the legendary DJ is gearing up for the next installment in his Streetsweeper series, entitled "Streetsweeper Presents: The Rise Of A City", featuring a host of both veteran emcees and new talents mostly hailing from the NYC area. The first single was the impeccable seven minutes "90s Flow" which I thought was somewhat overlooked by many as it featured quality verses over a strong beat from Prodigy, Raekwon, Ghostface Killah, Rell, Fat Joe, Sheek Louch, Herb McGruff, M.O.P., and N.O.R.E. I realized I never posted it on the site, so as the second single "Ghetto Survivor" is here I figured it's a perfect opportunity to post both tracks. "Ghetto Survivor" is produced by the underrated Blastah Beatz and features lyrical performances by Termanology, Troy Ave, Trick Trick & Trae. Enjoy these banging joints while we wait for the full project to drop.

Termanology Ft. Inspectah Deck & Maffew Razino + Sheek Louch, Lil' Fame, Kay Slay

Termanology is preparing another LP this year and its titled "G.O.Y.A. (Gunz & Yay Available)" and is sheduled for a October 8 release via ST/Brick Records. I got two singles for you from the LP and they are both intense posse cut featuring fellow NY talents in Inspectah Deck and Maffew Ragazino for "You Ain't Safe", and DJ Kay Slay introduces Term, Sheek and the always incredible Lil' Fame on "Straight From The Block". Despite the status of these guests they are only a small amount of all the rhymers and guest vocalists that Term has rounded up for "Goya". Or how about Reks, NORE, Chris Rivers, JuJu, DJ Premier, Pete Rock, Large Professor, Action Bronson, Jared Evans, Tony Touch, Doo Wop, and a few others. The entire project is produced by Shortfyuz, an-up-n-coming producer from Term's neighborhood. Enough said, check the tracklist and the two joints right below (Three if you count the NORE single I liked to above)! I really dug the LP with Lil' Fame so let's see if this can live up to that one...
