Here's another lost '90s gem that recently surfaced through the impeccable DJ Ogee's Soundcloud. Titled "That's How It Be (Boo Yah)", this was recorded at D&D Studios back in late '95 by Foul Play - a group signed to Duck Down Records at the time. Their only credit on Discogs is as performing backing vocals on the single version of Smif-N-Wesson's "Sound Bwoy Burreil" the same year. This cut goes hard though, DJ Ogee's hypnotic production and Rock's chant-a-long hook really captures the whole early BCC/Duck Down vibe. According to Ogee, this was only released on an Evil Dee tape back in the day, and is the first of two parts ("This version has Roc dropping the hook, and on a new project I'm getting together for 2014 I'll release Part 2 with other verses from both Ruc & Rock"). Looking forward to that project, I'd easily support a Rare & Unreleased type of compilation by Ogee!
