Posting artworks to upcomig albums is just something I don't do on this site, but every now and then you gotta do an exception. The Roots is all up in c7's world in 2014 as this summer will marko the first time I will see the crew that is often referred to as "the greatest live band out there". Amd of course they are releasing their official 12:th album as a group "...and then you shoot your cousin" on May 20. We've heard the excellent first single "When The People Cheer" last week, a beautifully somber joint featuring Black Thought sounding as energized as ever while guest vocals from Greg Porn and one of the Jazyfatnastee's on the hook (I think). For the first time in more than a year I dusted off their last outing "Undun", popped in the CD and was so amazed at how good this LP still sounds that I had to rewind it again as soon as it was over. And while the Elvic Costello collabo was quite good, I prefered the Karriem Riggins' remix EP of it, this one should be just as good as anything they have released during the last few years. And to not make this post a total dissapointment to some, check out this video where Brother ? creating breakbeats for the "ATSYC" album, shot by Steven Mandel,
