[EP] MARVELOUS MAG & SHABAAM SAHDEEQ - "God's Coin"

This is a nice team-up of two vocalists right here - super skilled Shabaam Sahdeeq and talented harmonizer Marvelous Mag. Representing two different generations of artists but always brings that HEAT. Seven tracks deep, pretty much no guests artists and lots of nice turntable work by Chinch 33. Check this one out!

MARVELOUS MAG - "Boot Camp Tribute"

Talented, young Brooklyn hip hop emcee Marvelous Mag is one of the first to bring out a proper Sean Price tribute song which is not all that strange considering that he is Sean P's younger cousins. The song itself is short but potent and definitely needs to be heard so be sure to press play up top.

MARVELOUS MAG - "New York Minute"

Marvelous Mag pretty much always drops interesting music well worthy of several spins. I almost feel like we're at something of a little hip-hop renaissance right now, with real shit coming out of the East, West, Midwest and the South. Mag is a New York emcee who's worked very closely with Lost Tapes favorites Hus Kingpin and Smoovth (Tha Connection), has released two pretty under-the-radar LP:s in 2010 and plenty of dope guest features and mixtapes throughout the more recent years. Now he is currently working on his new mixtape "Magic Johnson" and the first single is called "New York Minute" and with its M.W.P. production it's definitely a smooth winner that have at least me hyped for the project. MARVELOUS MAG Ft. THA CONNECTION & ASIA J - "Roberta" [prod. FLYING LOTUS]

As I was just visiting Marvelous Mag's Soundcloud page to embed his new single "Trouble" (see below), it turns out he also uploaded another new cut called "Roberta" that is just as ill to say the least. I'm really a sucker for anything FlyLo right now so seeing that he produced this was a very nice suprise. Beside Tha Connection (Hus Kingpin / SmooVth) the song also packs a 16 from femcee Asian J. I can dig it!

MARVELOUS MAG / HUS KINGPIN - "Here We Go Again"

Born and raised in Brownsville and now residing in Miami, Marvelous Mag is an emcee who's definitely on the come up. You should have heard him on "Game Of Life" from Hus Kingpin's hardboiled "The Cognac Tape". Here Hus returns the favor by dropping a sick guest verse on Mag's new single "Here We Go Again", produced by Tape Roc who does a wonderful job with the jazzy piano/bass chops (Sweden stand up!). Marvelous Mag is currently preparing a mixtape called "Florida Orange Juice" which beside Hus will feature Skyzoo, Sha Stimuli, and producer Chuck Strangers of Pro Era.
