Detroitit producer mastermind Black Milk released yet another superb album this year with "If There's A Hell Below", a true true school offering with tasty samples and crisp drums with guest verses from the likes of Random Axe (Sean Price, Guilty Simpson, Black Milk) and a southern anthem featuring Bun B and Trill One. While I prefered his previous a lbum some this iis still definitely woth the money- The vinyl and CD is already sold our @Bandcamp so you can still purchase the digital copy if you want to support. Check out the video for "What I's Worth" up top and stream the entire album below.

RANDOM AXE - "Scum"
Random Axe's self-titled debut which was released a few years ago, was a really good album, though it took me some spins before it truly sank in. With the trio consisting of producer Black Milk, fellow ruff-voiced Detroit emcee and legendary Boot Camp Clik member turned solo emcee Sean Price. Their LP "Random Axe" slowly started to grow on me, and since then all members of the trio has released some absolutely terrific solo projects on their own. Especially Black Milk has been getting stronger with each release, and his latest project "If There's A Hell Below", is shaing up real lovely based on the few street singlles and official singles we've heard so far. The album drops on October 28 and can be-preordered on CD or LP from UGHH.
For the final single before the album drops Milk leets loose of the highly anticipated reunion of the Random Axe crew. The song is called "Scum" and is another sure shot from the album. I for one can't wait for the full thing. Bang the track above!

SKYZOO & TORAE / RANDOM AXE - "All In Together"
Perhaps my most anticipated joint from Skyzoo & Torae's upcoming "Barel Brothers" that is really shaping up lovely. Here they bring some real rugged, string-driven, hard-hitting hip-hop that's not short on the ill lyricism as the talented brothers bring in the Random Axe crew with Sean Price and Guilty Simpson plus Black Milk providing another banger. "Barrel Brothers" hit stores on May 27, but pre-orders are already now shipping from UGHH.

Video: RANDOM AXE - "Chewbacca"
One of my favorite joints off Sean Price's, Black Milk's and Guilty Simpson's collaborative "Random Axe" album gets the visual treatment. And it's a pretty damn funny video too. Directed by Noah Friedman and produced by bkellyvideo & Third Street Works; music of course laced by Black Milk. If you haven't already, you can order the album now, both CD and LP available.

Random Axe - "Random Call"
Another video from the illness known as Random Axe to remind y'all that the album is available on CD everywhere starting today. With Black Milk on the boards and Sean Price/Guilty Simpson tag-teaming the verbals I can't do anything else but strongly recommend this joint. Pick it up from Amazon, UGHH, MegaStore or whatever you prefer. Militant vinylists gets their fix next Tuesday.

Random Axe Ft. Roc Marciano - "Chewbacca"
The self titled debut album of the power trio of two of the most interesting rappers in the induerground scens with one of the most interesting producers of the UG scene. The long-awaited Duck Down release has been in the works for a couple of years at least and although I am not a fan of snippets and din't check them out I heard good things about it based on that (you can check the samples at Amazon.com.)
Since the album is being released only a few weeks from now this is the last song I will leak from the album. With these three songs they proven that it's worth buying if you ask me and I'd suggest y'all do the same - it's a fucking collaboration between Sean P, Guilty Simpson and Black Milk supplying the beats and appearing on the mic as well. In other words it's gonna be a real hardcore album. The previous two singles are "Random Call" , "The Hex" and it's mad entertaining video shoot. So here's the final leak you'll find on The Lost Tapes - it's called "Chewbacca" (what's up Linkan haha) and features none other than Strong Island's currently finest rhymer. Marc drops an impressive 16 that sounds right at home with the company on here, oven-door packing heat, smack king thing ish that's not for the fain't hearted.
Duck Down has provided the heads with a stream @ SoundCloud. for now but who cares since it's at least ins perfect CD quality. Just make a promise to both yourself and me and TURN IT UP!!! and if you're feeling what you heard so far go out on next Tuesday and support this real and authenatic hip-hop project. If you don't, you can't really complain that faggots like Rick Ross, Wiz Khalifa and Odd Future runs the airwaves.

VIDEO: Random Axe's "The Hex"
More new hot shit to remind us that we got a summer heavy on the hip-hop side of things on the way. Random Axe is of course the collaboration between Sean Price, Guilty Simpson and Black Milk and if the album is as dope as it sounds on paper this will be straight up incredible; Detroit and New York holds the most interesting artists rap music has to offer right now if you ask me. The video is directed by Ang Kasuwan and describes what can go down when this trio decides to visit a motel.
"RANDOM AXE" will be released on Duck Down Records on June 14 (click the link to check out the artwork and tracklist). Props to the homie Bamboo for letting me know about the release of the video!

Random Axe debuts new single
It's hard to believe two years have passed since the Random Axe project was confirmed, a collaboration between New York's Sean Price with Guilty Simpson and Black Milk straight from the "D". Although we've waited a good while for this project I can still say I'm really anticipating for this album to drop, another sure shot banger from the Duck Down camp. A track called "Monster Babies" dropped back when the collabo was first announced I would expect the just released "The Hex" to be the first official single from the groups upcoming self-titled debut. The title of the song is a tribute to Black Milk and Guilty's long time manager, Hex Murda.
Since the song is currently only available for purchase on iTunes I will only provide a link to the stream + iTunes at the moment, but make sure you take the time to listen to this one cuz it's pure heat.
