As is only fitting the joint is produced by Madlib who of course produced the entirey of Gibb's best album, "Pinata", but also the illest Strong Arm joint in "In Search Of Stoney Jackson". Strong Arm Steady has been getting laced by some extremely ill producers lately, namely albums fully produced by Madlib and now most recently "Stereotype" with Statik Selektah. Now Oh No jumps on the chance to make his own remix EP of S.A.S.'s latest, retitled "Stereo Jr.". The project is available exclusively via Stones Throw who got it up for digital purchase now. Bilal Ft. KRNDN - "Flying High" [J. Rocc Remix]
Three of the illest soul- and hip-hop artists representing their respetivess sright here; the sweet soul singing from Bilal,.and Strong Arm Steady's Kondon over a booming beat provided by fellow Stones Throw musical monster/turntablist J. Rocc. For this latest single/remix he brings his unique sound to "Flying High"; a song that's easily just as good as the original that appeared in its original version on Bilal's underappreciated album "Airtight's Revenge" last year. Overall it's good as hell; a true gem to say the least. I'm not sure if this will be released on wax, but keep your fingers crossed because fans of the Stones Throw label and its roster, should LOVE this. I know I will y'all!

[SAMPLER] Strong Arm Steady - "Stereotype"
The good folks at Stones Throw just put posted an EP; a six track sampler made up of all the released singles for Strong Arm Steady's upcoming fourth official full-length; "Stereotype". Just like their second LP, which were fully produced by Madlib, the production this time is completely handled by DJ Statik Selektah. I loved their two first albums, "Arms & Hammers" was very decent but not more, but I have high hopes for this. Check out the sampler for yourself and make up your own mind; the full album drops on August 14 via Stones Throw. Enjoy!

BURNTmd / Phil Da Agony / Madlib
Fresh rapper BURNTmd from Vermont hooks up with Strong Arm Steady's Phil The Agony for this Madlib produced track titled "GDTMIB: The PhilMadBurnt Anthem". The main emcee is preparing a Green Lantern helmed mixtape called "The Green Invasion" that will feature this song as well as a Madlib laced joint featuring Snoop Dogg. The Vermont spitter is also getting ready to drop the teaser EP "Not So Black & White EP" so be on the lookout. Rumors say BURNTmd made some cameos on the Madlib produced "In Search Of Stoney Jackson" that didn't make the final cut so the plan now is to leak these joints for free every now and then so this is definitely goo news for all fans of the Steady crew and The Beat Konducta.
