I'm generally not interested in mash-up mixtapes as I feel that the original works should stand on their own and not be tampered with. That's certainly true for both The Pharcyde's "Bizzare Ride to Pharcyde" and A Tribe Called Quest's catalouge, which is what Gummy Soul uses for his latest free release "Bizzare Tribe: A Quest to Pharcyde". His last drop, the jazzy mix of the music of De La Soul and Fela Kut called "Fela Soul", was such a cool project that this obviously got a listen too. And guess what, it's another winneer so make sure to get it ASAP!
