My man James Dunn sent me over a promo for Poland based producer Soulpete's debut album "Soul Raw" that has just dropped, and it's absolutely rocking. Soulpete's production packs a heavy punch of East Coast boom bap influences with thumping beats, turntable wizardry, a touch of jazz samples, and a heavy guest list. Emcees spitting over these banging backdrops include Guilty Simpson (see video above), Oddisee, Smif-N-Wessun, Pacewon, Supastition, Journalist 103, Blu, Hezekiah (check the video for "Dead Or Alive"), and more.
