WU-TANG CLAN - "KEEP WATCH"

Any day is a great day for a new Wu-Tang Clan single so get pumped as the Clan on "Keep Watch" featuring singer Nathaniel. As far as I know this is the first official single from the nonet's highly anticiapted "A Better Tomorrow" which should be out sometime this year. Produced by Allah Mathematics and featuring strong verses from Meth, Deck, Cappa and GZA, this one has a real nice vibe on the Shaolin soul tip - I'm not entirely sold on the hook though but as a whole the song definitely goes. 

ALLAH MATHEMATICS - "The Answer" Out Now!

Wu-Tang Clan's official DJ Allah Mathematics releases his fourth album as a solo artist today. Titled "The Answer", as it follows Math's last vocal album which was called "The Problem", the project is entirely produced by Math with vocals handled by Wu-Tang Clan, Redman, George Clinton, Ready Roc, Termanology, 12 O'Clock, Streetlife, and Popa Wu, as well as Math's dedicated team including Eyes Low, Bad Luck, and Allah Real. I'm not sure if the album is available in physical format, but you can download it @ Amazon.com where you can also listen to snippets of all the tracks. I also took the liberty of uploading one song from the album to give you a taste of what it's about. This particular cut features strong performances from Ghost, Deck, Rae and Method Man and is called "Four Horsemen"... SUUUUUUUUUU!!!!

First off, to my regular readers, sorry about the complete lack of updates over the past week, I'm having some huge problems with my home computer at the moment which has disabled my chance to post from home. Hopefully the problem will soon be fixed, I got some good updates coming, including more compilations and interviews. Now I'm with the homie Big Rob, and about to catch up on a few tracks I might have missed out on, and possibly y'all too.

The first track I want to bring to your attention is another Wu-Tang Clan track, "The 4 Horsemen". Although not a Clan track per se, it's actually a joint from Mathematics' upcoming full-lengther "The Answer" which you'll find in stores and at online retailers on July 25, it got the vibe and enough spitters to warrant it as such if you ask me. So it's not the entire Clan spitting either, but with quality verses from Method Man, Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah, and Raekwon, which is defo enough for me considering how well they sound together over this heavy hitting Math beat. Mathematics Ft. GZA, Raekwon & Cappadonna - "Face The Problemz"

Mathematics brings forth more marvelous ish from the Wu camp with "Face The Problemzzz", the second single from his upcoming "The Answer" LP which hits stores April 16. Featuring verses from GZA, Raekwon and Cappachino and soul-drenched production from The Abbot himself, this cut should have you reaching for rewind before the fade.

DJ Allah Matematics / Wu-Tang Clan, Termanology - "Men Of Respect"

Another dope release coming out on April 16 is the fourth solo/production album from DJ Allah Mathematics; in a way one of the founding members of The Wu-Tang Clan though he's initital focus was on promotion and marketing and the occassional DJ set. But when he started producing in '97 it was evident that he had learned from the best, some of his finer moments ("Mighty Healthy", "Wu Banga 101", the five songs on GZA's "Beneath the Surface", his contributions to both Red/Meth albums, his contributions to RZA's "Digital Bullet", Killarmy's sophomore and "The Swarm" compilation, etc.

With tracks like the aforementioned I always felt that he had the power to be just as good as True Master and 4th Disciple, but unfortunately many of his later productions haven't done much for me save for the occasional banger; his previous solo albums, while still good have left some to desire if you ask me. However, for the 20:th anniversary of the Wu-Tang Clan's first single "Protect Ya Neck" (which of course Math designed the logo for and was a creative part of), Math is releasing "The Answer"; fully produced by the man himself, and chock full of the usual suspects, and then some. To kick things off, here's the first single  The line-up of thi posse cut is pretty damnn crazy, you got Ghostface and Raekwon ripping it, you got Termanology coming through and two verses from Math's side-team which includes Eye Slow and Bad Lucc.
