SHABAAM SAHDEEQ - "GMR"

  If you follow The Lost Tapes you know that I, mr. claaa7, is a huge fan of Shabaam Sahdeeq and the "Ke epers of the Lost Faith" was one of the most underrated albums of last year. Now he's back with another project entitled "Timeless Of The Collection", which is spearheaded by the hard banging lead single "GMR" produced by Brown Bag AllStars member J57 with cuts by DJ Eclipse. The album which will be released digitallly via Bandcamp will feature a handpainted cover by Shabaam himself for each single, and limited editions of this singles artwork is available from Shadeeq's Bandcamp on prints and T-shirts so hurry up and buy. Ugly Heroes Ft. DJ Eclipse - "Ugly"

If you can't get enough of Ugly Heroes and their recently released self-titled debut album, here's another FAT cut from the trio of Apollo Brown, Verbal Kent, and Red Pill that DID NOT make the retail LP. "Ugly" features the super talented DJ Eclipse tearing it up over Apollo's stellar production, with Verbal Kent and Red Pill going IN and overall this joint is as impressive as anything on the full album. The song is released via MMG's Bandcamp to celebrate the vinyl release of the album which is out now. Ill Bill, DJ Eclipse, Torae talk productions from Pete Rock, Preemo & Extra-P

Ill Bill was the guest on the latest edition of DJ Eclipse's and Torae's Rap Is Outta Control show. In this two minute clip, the trio speaks on the thoughts and blessing of incorporating the famous "Illmatic" line-up of Pete Rock, DJ Premier and Large Professor for their respective albums. Of course, Non Phixion was the first to do it with their official debut LP "The Future is Now", and more recently both Torae and Ill Bill reached out to the power trio to lace several cuts on their latest albums, respectively... And to great effect! Interesting stuff!
