[Album] DON MIGUEL - "Waiting For Carmine"

Don Miguel is an up and coming producer from New York who just came out with his album "Waiting For Carmine". Consisting of fifteen tracks sporting a vintage NYC hip-hop sound with a lot of mesmerizing piano samples, vocal samples, thumping rhythm tracks and ill turntable work. I came across the LP due to the amazing "Merciless Manuscript" single which features no lesser emcees than Guilty Simpson and Percee P (which I strongly recommend you listen to whether or not you intend to listen through the LP) but as I'm listening to the album now I'm really pleasantly suprised. Other guests include Blacastan, Boldy James, Rapsody, Rashad, Big Remo, ST. 2 Lettaz, and more. Purchase the digital album @ Bandcamp.

[Album] WILLIE THE KID x BRONZE NAZARETH - "The Living Daylights"

Willie The Kid and Bronze Nazareth has definitely been on their respective grinds these past few years, so the news that they were working on a full-length collaboration came as a real pleasant suprise to many. The resulting "The Living Daylights" is now available, and is something you without question will want to hear ASAP as it features Willie's typical hustle and grind lyrics over Bronze's Shaolin Soul chops, with guest spots from heavy hitters such as Roc Marciano, Sean Price, LA The Darkman, Sha Stimuli and Boldy James. Luckily, Noisey.com has got the go-ahead to premier the entire album as a free stream throught their Audiomack account, though the project of course is available for purchase @ iTunes as well. SICK!!

Kuniva Ft. Guilty Simpson, Jon Connor & Boldy James - "Michiganish D/L"

A whole lot of fat hip-hop coming out the Detroit, Michigan area at the moment - just peep this heavy posse cut that's screaming for you to turn that volume knob way up. Kuniva of D12 gathers the talents of Guilty Simpson, Jon Connor and Boldy James over a dark, rugged headnodder complete with some ill turntable work. "Michiganish D/L", produced by Block Symfany, is the lead single from Kuniva's upcoming full-length "A History of Violence" which drops early next year. Peace to Hashashin for putting me on to this!

Willie The Kid Ft. Boldy James - "Ain't Nothing"

Boldy James also appears on the new single from Willie The Kid, "Ain't Nothing", produced and arranged by The Wisemen's Bronze Nazareth. In fact, the acclaimed producer will handle all of the beats on Willie's upcoming album "The Living Daylights" which drops soon.

Here goes the first video from Boldy James' recent Alchemist backed "My 1st Chemistry Set" which is no doubt a hard ass record that keeps growing with each spin. The album is available now in digital format and on CD via the usual retailers so don't sleep!

BOLDY JAMES x ALCHEMIST - "Reform School"

I don't know how the hell I could've missed that Detroit emcee Boldy James have teamed up with producer The Alchemist for a full-length project! The two first collaborated on "The Kosmos Pt. 2: Power Glove", one of the many standouts from last years "Russian Roulette". Consisting of 13 tracks, the Decon release boost features from Freeway, Action Bronson, Earl Sweatshirt, Domo Genesis and King Chip. "M.1.C.S. (My 1st Chemistry Set)" hit stores October 15; at least on CD (pre-order), I can't find any info on vinyl as of yet. Check out the posse track with Earl, Domo and Da$h, "Reform School", as well as the previously released single "Moochie". This shit goes HARD, defo checking for this drop!
