This has been a good summer for hardbodie hip-hop records, and here's another one that will definitely serve your ears right. I have always given props to French beat maestro DJ Low Cut as he's dropped fat project after project without ever losing a step. After several collaborations with rugged Queens' spitter Nutso, the pair felt it was time to do something more official and earlier this month they released the ten track mini album "In The Cut" which you should definitely pick up, either digitally via iTunes or grab a physical copy (CD or wax) through DJ Low Cut's Bandcamp where you can also stream the project in full!

DJ Low Cut's impeccable "NY Minute" album is getting the remix treatment by some of France's finest beatmakers and released in a Remix Version. The album is out now, and as a lil' sneak peak Low Cut is giving away DJ Brans mix of Dirt Platoon's "Second Brokest" for free download. "France's Finest: NY Minute Remix" can be purchased via Bandcamp, with the option of free streaming first.

DIRT PLATOON - "Better"

Now this is that hardbodie street hop we all love to bang out loud as hell! The Baltimore duo Dirt Platoon has hooked up with the talented beatsmith DJ Brans to release the "Start Ya Bids" EP which is out now on Effiscienz Records. The vinyl is very limited edition so hurry up if you want a copy, but there's also CD and mp3 versions for the digi heads. Support real hip-hop as it's guaranteed to be worth the price!
